Back from Roskilde

I had a great time at Roskilde Festival this year with a lot of great concerts and lots of beer! One of my favorite concerts was the Japandroids concert.

Japandroids are a two part band which I’ve been listening a lot to lately, but didn’t really understood how much I liked them before seeing them at Roskilde! When the first beats of Young Hearts Spark Fire [Spotify link] blasted out of the speakers things really got sick! Its been a long time I’ve been to a concert with such a fun mosh pit.

Another memorable concert was the Bonaparte concert the same night. I came to the concert never heard one song of them, but the music, people and the stage–show made it one hell of a concert!

I Speak Because I Can

Through the years I’ve travelled through a wide array of music genres. All from jazz to thrash-metal. Lately I’ve been listing a lot to indie music, or more specific folk music. One of the best new(ish) band/artist is Laura Marling in my eyes. A 20 year old folk-pop, singer-songwriter artist from Britain who recently released a new album. Which is the purpose of this post. Her latest album justifies calling her one of the best (if not the best) new artist.

Enjoy!

Hi

Welcome to my Tumblr. I’m not quite sure what it will contain yet, but hey that’s half the fun, right? Not knowing what’s coming.

Well, anyway I can start off with some sites that I find inspirational:

Mark Forrester’s portfolio is just stunning.

Next is The Yellow Bird Project. A nonprofit indie charity site that sells t-shirts. Besides the webpage you should check out some of the shirts too. They are awesome!
